Hi,
I’m planning to go to Singapore and Jetstar has really good, cheap flights going. I want to go,but the only thing is my flight home lands at 2:30am and goes at 8:30am. what can you do at Darwin Airport for that long? Honestly I don’t want to be stuck there but it seems I have no choice..
What do you do when your transit time is that long?
Thanks and bless,
Ichiban.

Listen if it is worth just bum around in the airport. Its only 6 hrs and b4 you know it check in will be open
Not a lot to do there at that time of the night. A layover like this is one of the reasons the ticket is cheap, not too many people would want that itinerary.
That is a pretty horrible time to arrive but I guess I would try to sleep in the airport terminal until around 7:00 am. Maybe then grab some breakfast and get ready to board the aircraft. If you are not tired, bring a laptop computer or portable DVD player with movies.
get one of those blow up pillows
The reason the flight is so cheap is because of this horrid layover:D
Don’t worry, I stayed at Changi airport for 9 hours…
You could first check in (if theres someone at the counter); grab something to eat (breakfast), or bring a labtop or dvd player.
Since its morning stores might be begin to open so you could look inside stores and maybe or maybe not purchase anything.
See if the airport contains any entertainment there, sleep on the benches, if your flying first class or business class go to the lounge. Talk with someone…idk.
Ugh, that sucks. I’m not surprised the tickets were cheap, but alas, there is many things you occupy yourself with. When I fly and have a really long layover until my connecting flight I usually make sure I have my iPod with me, so that I can listen to music. There should be plenty of places to eat, so take some time to have a coffee and some breakfast or whatever. There will be a newsagent type store which sells books, magazines, crossword books and newspapers which you chould buy to spend some time. Bringing a laptop is a good idea, but make sure to keep an eye on all your stuff. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping, because that puts you and your luggage at risk. You could have a walk around the airport and check it out or have a look around the shops.
