Ugh, that sucks. I'm not surprised the tickets were cheap, but alas, there is many things you occupy yourself with. When I fly and have a really long layover until my connecting flight I usually make sure I have my iPod with me, so that I can listen to music. There should be plenty of places to eat, so take some time to have a coffee and some breakfast or whatever. There will be a newsagent type store which sells books, magazines, crossword books and newspapers which you chould buy to spend some time. Bringing a laptop is a good idea, but make sure to keep an eye on all your stuff. I wouldn't recommend sleeping, because that puts you and your luggage at risk. You could have a walk around the airport and check it out or have a look around the shops.

The reason the flight is so cheap is because of this horrid layover:D

Don't worry, I stayed at Changi airport for 9 hours...

You could first check in (if theres someone at the counter); grab something to eat (breakfast), or bring a labtop or dvd player.

Since its morning stores might be begin to open so you could look inside stores and maybe or maybe not purchase anything.

See if the airport contains any entertainment there, sleep on the benches, if your flying first class or business class go to the lounge. Talk with someone...idk.

Glasgow to London is domestic with no immigration/customs. You will arrive in the domestic arrivals area of the airport in London and will clear immigration/customs when you enter the international departures lounge. With an 8 hour stopover you could go into London for a few hours. All departure taxes will be included in your ticket.

That is a pretty horrible time to arrive but I guess I would try to sleep in the airport terminal until around 7:00 am. Maybe then grab some breakfast and get ready to board the aircraft. If you are not tired, bring a laptop computer or portable DVD player with movies.

CALM DOWN!!!!!

looks like a first time flyer!!

all seats are numbered by row first, then letter.

if you have say row 35 for example and there are 6 seats across the row then there will be : 35A, 35B, 35C, 35D, 35E and 35F.

35A and 35F are window seats. row 35B and 35E are middle seats and 35 C and 35D are aisle seats.

chill mate.
